Description  

Bonding fresh concrete to existing concrete is as much about timing and surface preparation as it is about adhesive strength. Sikadur®-32 LP is a two-component epoxy bonding agent with an extended working life, suited to specified construction and concrete repair work in warmer conditions. It also serves as a corrosion-protection coating for prepared reinforcing steel in compatible repair systems.

Concrete bonding and reinforcement protection

Use Sikadur-32 LP as the specified bonding bridge when placing new concrete against sound, prepared existing concrete, or when a repair design calls for protection of exposed reinforcing steel. Its long-pot-life formulation gives installers more working time than a rapid-setting epoxy, particularly in the stated warm-weather application range.

Choosing the right repair system

This is a liquid bonding and reinforcement-protection system, not a thick paste for filling voids. For non-sag epoxy bonding or localised patching, see Sikadur-31 CF Normal. Select the appropriate bonding window, concrete preparation and reinforcement treatment using the current Sika technical data sheet.

Available in 3 L and 18 L pre-batched kits. Professional use and compatibility testing are recommended for the intended substrates and repair conditions.
