Can Selsil Ultra Clear be treated as a structural sealant?
Not automatically. Selsil Ultra Clear is documented for glass-and-metal connection joints, window frames, aluminium assemblies, and transparent elastic bonding. That supports investigation in this stage, but the local evidence does not establish the same load-bearing approval as the dedicated structural Products. The trades owner must decide its final boundary.
Why is a manufacturer approval still needed?
Structural glazing depends on the complete system, not only a Product description. The joint design, glass, frame finish, movement, wind load, preparation, cure conditions, and written manufacturer approval all affect suitability. A Product can have structural-glazing identity yet still require project review before use. This stage does not replace that control.
Are archived structural Products ready to publish?
No. SA N60, Adheseal N80, and black Silicone N80 have direct structural-glazing evidence but are live Archived Products. The owner must identify current successors or approve an inventory decision before any archived Product is exposed in a new customer-facing Collection.
