When do I need a linear channel instead of a floor waste?
When the water runs along a line, not to one point. A channel sits in the floor along a wall or a threshold and drains the whole run. We stock Lauxes Grates channels in several profiles and finishes, plus tile-insert and standard floor grate styles.
What do NXT14, NXT21, and NXT26 mean?
They are model numbers for three Lauxes channel profiles. Each comes in a range of metal finishes. Pick the one that matches your channel length, outlet position, and load. The number is a model reference, not a flow-rate rating.
Do the different finishes change how the channel works?
No. Silver, gold, gun metal, midnight black, and brushed nickel are the same channel with a different anodised finish. Choose the look that suits the room. The drainage job and the installation are the same.
What is a tile-insert channel?
A channel with a grate tray you tile into, so the grate sits flush with the floor finish. It needs the tile thickness, the membrane, and the fall set up together with the plumbing. It is a finish choice, not a different fitting.
Are the end caps, joiners, and outlets included?
The channel kit comes with its core parts, but end caps, corner joiners, and pop waste outlets are often bought separately to suit the run. Check what is in the kit before you order, and add the fittings you need to complete the assembly.
