Floor joints in warehouses, car parks and industrial facilities have to tolerate more than occasional movement. Sikaflex® PRO-3 Purform® is a one-component elastic polyurethane sealant for specified floor and civil-engineering joints exposed to mechanical wear, traffic and demanding service conditions.
For trafficable and industrial joint sealing
Typical applications include suitable joints in production floors, warehouses, car parks, pedestrian areas and selected civil structures. Its high movement capability and mechanical resistance make it a specialist option for demanding floor joints rather than a general household gap filler.
Design the joint as a system
Sika states movement capability of ±25% to ISO 9047 and ±50% to ASTM C719 under the respective test methods. Joint dimensions, backing rod, substrate preparation and chemical exposure must be checked against the actual specification.
