Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between pre-moistened wipes and dry rags?
Pre-moistened wipes from Great Aussie Wipes are saturated with a cleaning solution that dissolves adhesive, sealant, and grease. Dry rags from Adheseal Tools are recycled cotton and t-shirt material for use with your own solvent.
Are the Great Aussie wipes safe on skin?
Yes. Great Aussie Tradie Cleanup Wipes are safe on hands. They are 100 percent plastic free, compostable, and biodegradable. Each sheet measures 200 mm by 250 mm. They remove bitumen, paint, oil, and sealant.
What are the industrial cleaning rags made from?
Adheseal Tools rags come in three types. White cotton rags have low lint for glass and coatings. Coloured t-shirt rags are soft and absorbent for mechanical work. Premium white t-shirt rags are virtually lint-free for polishing.
Can I use solvent on the industrial rags?
Yes. The dry rags accept any solvent or cleaner you supply. Use white cotton with mineral spirits for glass work. Use coloured t-shirt rags with degreaser for mechanical parts. Rags are recycled and sold in 10 kg bags.
Are the wipes biodegradable?
Yes. Great Aussie Tradie Cleanup Wipes are 100 percent plastic free and fully biodegradable. The industrial rags are made from recycled textiles. Neither product contains new plastic fibres.
