How to Apply Unobond: Step-by-Step

  1. 1. Prepare the Surface

    Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of grease, dust, or flaking particles. Lightly sand glossy or sealed substrates if needed.

  2. 2. Cut and Load Cartridge

    Cut the nozzle to the desired bead width and pierce the inner foil. Load into a standard caulking gun.

  3. 3. Apply Adhesive

    Apply Unobond in a zigzag pattern or in beads to one surface. Avoid applying too close to the edges to reduce squeeze-out.

  4. 4. Join Surfaces

    Press surfaces together firmly to spread the adhesive. If needed, clamp or brace for 24 hours until set.

  5. 5. Clean Up

    Wipe excess adhesive immediately with a dry cloth or solvent cleaner. Cured material must be removed mechanically.

  6. 6. Allow to Cure

    Allow 24–48 hours for Unobond to fully cure under normal conditions. Do not disturb bonded elements during this time.
