Megapoxy H is a low-viscosity, hydrophilic epoxy liquid for bonding new concrete to existing concrete, anchoring steel and repairing cracks in damp or wet conditions. It complies with AS/NZS 4020:2018 for structures in contact with drinking water.

Wet-condition concrete bonding and repair

Use H for wet-to-dry concrete bonding, low-pressure crack injection, floor repairs and structural epoxy mortars made with fine aggregate. The liquid wets prepared concrete and steel and can be used for underwater and splash-zone repairs; it is also resistant to hydrogen sulphide found in sewage infrastructure.

H, HT or HX?

Choose H when you need a flowable hydrophilic bonding resin. Megapoxy HT is the non-sag gel for thicker, vertical or overhead applications. Megapoxy HX has a much thinner 200 cps mixed viscosity for fine-crack penetration, compared with H at approximately 800 cps.

Before you apply

Remove contaminants and weak surface layers before bonding. Mix three parts A to one part B by volume and use within 30 minutes at 25°C. Minimum cure is 24 hours at 25°C. Do not apply below 10°C.

Can Megapoxy H be used on wet concrete?
Yes. H is hydrophilic and is intended for wet-to-dry concrete bonding, underwater and splash-zone repairs.

What is the difference between Megapoxy H, HT and HX?
H is a flowable hydrophilic resin at about 800 cps; HT is a non-sag hydrophilic gel; HX is an extra-low-viscosity liquid at about 200 cps for finer cracks.

Can Megapoxy H be used in drinking-water structures?
Yes. H complies with AS/NZS 4020:2018 for contact with drinking water.

Hydrophilic liquid resin for damp concrete and splash-zone repairs. AS/NZS 4020:2018 compliant for drinking-water contact. Suitable for new-to-old concrete bonding, steel anchoring and epoxy mortars. 800 cps mixed viscosity and 30-minute working time at 25°C.
Remove weak concrete, oil and dust from the repair area and prepare steel to clean bare metal. Mix three parts A to one part B by volume until uniform. Apply as a bonding resin, for low-pressure injection or with fine aggregate as an epoxy mortar. Working time is 30 minutes at 25°C; minimum cure is 24 hours at that temperature.
Do not apply below 10°C or over poorly prepared surfaces. For high-build vertical or overhead repairs, choose the non-sag HT gel instead. For very fine crack injection, HX offers lower mixed viscosity.
  • Dry or damp concrete.
  • Prepared steel and other compatible bare metals.
  • Natural stone and masonry.
  • Concrete cracks and anchoring holes.
  • Compatible epoxy mortar and grout systems.
